Our chapter gives back to the community!  At least once per year, we organize a service project which will directly benefit families in our community.

Bethany House Adopt-a-Family

Our chapter adopted a needy family for the 2004 Holiday season.  Members contributed toys and clothes, as well as a grocery gift certificate to help the family through the holidays.

Aubrey Rose Hollenkamp Children’s Trust Foundation

We have just completed our major fundraiser for the 2004-05 year!  By selling copies of the 2005 Zone Book, we have raised over $1300 to benefit families with sick children.  Way to go, Members!

Breast Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati

We held a golf outing at Neumann Golf Course in June, 2004 and raised money in support of breast cancer research.  Thanks to the hard work of the members who organized it, our chapter won a MOMS Club award for an Outstanding Service Project!  Way to go, ladies!

Juvenile Arthritis Foundation

In 2002-2003, we published a MOMS Club of Cincinnati-Green Township cookbook.  Most of our MOMS contributed at least one recipe, several spent many hours editing recipes & organizing the cookbook, and together we managed to sell over 200 cookbooks!  All proceeds benefitted the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation.

Hannah's Treasure Chest

In the spring of 2002 we were proud to donate one half of a truckload full of new and gently used baby items to this charity. Hanna's Treasure Chest is a nonprofit charity whose vision is to provide for the on-going needs of children in the Miami Valley through the collection and distribution of clothing, furniture and toys. Hannah's Treasure Chest can be reached at hannahstreasure@earthlink.net and at 937-438-5039.

MOMS Helping MOMS in America

In 2001, following the 9/11 tragedy, our chapter raised over $1,500 by making & selling patriotic pins and hosting bake sales in our community.  The funds were donated to the International MOMS Club Mother-to-Mother Fund(R),  which benefits MOMS in financial crises. MOMS Club counts four MOMS among our national membership who were directly affected by the attacks on 9/11.  We are very proud of our chapter for pulling together and giving so much to help our fellow MOMS in need!

St. Joseph's Orphanage

Our first project as a new chapter in 2001 was a yard sale that raised over $700.00 to benefit St. Joseph's Orphanage of Cincinnati. We were able to purchase all the supplies that St. Joseph's needed for their summer programs, including art supplies, swimwear, and swimming accessories.  Every member contributed items or helped by working at the sale.
